I just thought this was pretty smart and quick thinking. MedShare International placed a search ad under “Diego Valazquez” on Google who created a new doodle today celebrating the birthday of the famed artist.
People like myself click on the doodle to get more information about what it is about, and now I am more aware of Medshare International’s mission.
This has been a project of Indenpendence Media for about two years that finally has come to fruition. I heard about this in graduate school and thought it was an interesting idea to generate revenue and original programming for a small public television station outside of Philadelphia. Volunteers and organizations create five-minute educational programs for a modest fee to be broadcasted on the web and television. It’s a great opportunity to create rich and informative programs about subjects and issues that people care passionately about.
The website has a simple and clean interface (which I am always in favor of) where visitors can watch current programs or create an account to submit their video. It also has a blog and discussion board to interact with the staff and content creators. Learn more at http://www.mindtv.org.
